It was one of those relaxing days sitting outside Starbucks Botany with my good friend Britney. Drifting off I started checking through my text messages when I got that all familiar punch in the arm, “Listen to me!!!”
“I am!” I exclaimed as I put my phone down before it ended up in my latté. Yes it did once, but I still love her.
Britney was on edge today – she had just settled her affairs with her ex husband.
“Now what am I meant to do, I can’t really work full time as I have my little girl to look after.” She lamented.
“Do what you were doing before” was my upbeat reply.
“But he did that, and that’s a guy’s thing anyway.” Britney’s expression changed to one of frustration.
“But did he? Think about it and as for a guy’s thing, I don’t think so.” I wasn’t sure I was getting through to her so I continued…
“Anyway, what knowledge did you have when you were born? Were you born a Sales Manager?” I quizzed.
“Tell you what, go and have a wonder around my new site I was telling you about, click on Property Investment, and listen to what Kirsty Dunphey has to say.”
My point was and still is; property investment is not exclusive to Males or Females. In fact, anyone with a brain that is prepared to listen can do it.
See females already have an advantage!
This year, right now, it is game on, and trust me, the conditions are very close to perfect for investing in property.
You can give me a call or email anytime, I am happy to sit down with you and explain just how to play the game. I will explain the rules, and yes there are some, ever tried playing a game without any. Just don’t punch me on the arm as it still hurts, Or, have a look around my new site for yourself, www.propertyprofit.co.nz and sign up for my soon to be released book, ‘Blueprint - Investing in New Zealand Real Estate’
At the very least, keep reading further and find out about Kirsty Dunphey and listen to her short YouTube clip.
Why her?
A quick introduction - With two businesses and two part time jobs under her belt at the age of 15, to her own real estate agency at 21, Kirsty has been described as “Little bit Aussie Battler, Little bit Sassy Entrepreneur”.
When Kirsty was purchasing her sixth investment property in her early twenties and her bank wouldn’t cooperate – did she stop there? No way, she was creative and found the solution that suited the problem blasting her way to being a self made millionaire. Yes, a self made multi millionaire by 25 and ‘retired’ at age 27.
Just like Henry Ford – the great car maker said, “you don’t have to know everything just surround yourself with people that know what you want to know.”
Britney and I still meet on a regular basis, she has a couple of rentals and looking for another as I write this, and yes, she still punches me on the arm to get my attention.
I guess that is a female characteristic right… hope you at least listen to Kirsty, keen to hear what you think, good bad or otherwise, oh and I promise to listen… hear from you soon, brian@propertyprofit.co.nz
